GREETINGS CCE FAMILIES,
My Name is Mauro Rodriguez Jr. I am the new 2009-2010 PTA President. At this time I would like to welcome you back and extend a warm welcome to those of you that have just joined the CCE Campus.
Congratulations on a job well done this past year in becoming an Exemplary Campus. Exemplary status is a first for Cedar Creek Elementary Elementary. Also a first is a male president of CCE PTA. The National PTA calso has a male president, so it is a year of firsts for CCE. With that said, we on the PTA hope to get 100% membership from our parents. Membership dues are only $6.00. Keep in mind that other campuses use membership drives as fundraisers and collect anywhere from $10.00 - $15.00. The six dollars we collect pays for your national, state, and local PTA dues.
With your dues, you are a member of all three PTA branches and are eligible for the benefits and discounts offered. Membership gives you a voice and voting rights on the CCE PTA endeavors. It does not make you a volunteer or mean that you have to volunteer. However, volunteering your time to help at fundraisers or events whenever possible is greatly appreciated.

Texas PTA member discount information has been collected and posted in the member-only section of the Texas PTA website. You'll need the username and password from the back of your PTA Membership Card or Texas PTA Member Benefits Card to access it.
